Model Train Show

If you like trains, you should head out to the Beaufort County Public Library. Trains of all sizes and shapes are racing nearly through almost 400 feet of track laid out about the library. This is the 11th Annual Beaufort Railroaders Model Train Show. This year they've set up six train track models for kids of all ages to enjoy.

"The children of today are not familiar with trains," railroader Willie Heister. "Many of them don't even remember seeing a real train. The steam engines are gone, and we wanted to give them a little part of our childhood."

The trains will be on display at the library through Saturday.
