It was a hot Saturday, but that didn't stop hundreds from showing their support for a man on death row.
The NAACP and supporters of Troy Anthony Davis, came out to promote their Grass Roots Campaign on Saturday at the 38th Street Park.
Music, games, and even food were on hand as supporters worked to get people to sign a petition, urging Savannah District Attorney Larry Chisolm to re-open Davis's case.
Troy Anthony Davis was convicted in 1991 of killing Savannah police officer, Mark Macphail.
He's been on death row ever since.
