House approves money for Fort Stewart

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Fort Stewart could receive millions of dollars to help soldiers prepare for future missions.

The US House of representatives appropriated nearly $200 million for construction on post. The measure would fund veterans affairs and pay for construction of new state-of-the-art facilities.

Tthe spending is expected to sail through the Senate.
