Troy Davis case captures world-wide attention

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Several news organizations are filming a documentary about Davis and his conviction for killing Savannah police officer Mark MacPhail. A representative of Amnesty International from France is in town working on her version with Martina Correia, Davis' sister.

"I think that in 2009, an innocent should be outside and not on the death row so I expect the review of his case," said documentary producer Marie-Anne Theriez.

The production company has worked on two previous documentaries in America. One on serial killers and another on a French-American's suspicious death in San Fransisco.
