Reddick blasts 1st Major League homerun

It's only been a couple days, but former South Effingham Mustang Josh Reddick is making the most of his weekend debut with the Red Sox. Saturday, Reddick recorded his first career hit.

Sunday, it was a homerun.

The blast came in the top of third with Boston holding a six run lead. Reddick sent a solo shot to left field for a 7-0 Red Sox advantage.

In the top of the fourth, Reddick recorded another hit, scoring Rocco Baldelli on an RBI single.

The Red Sox took the game 18-10. Reddick finished with six at bats, two runs, two hits, and two RBI.
