BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) - Beaufort's Mark Anderson held a 4-shot lead headed into the final round of the South Carolina amateur.
Sunday, Anderson sealed the deal with a final round of two under par 70 and a four day total of 272.
The 23-year-old made par on the first three holes, but bogeyed the 4th and 5th. Meanwhile Gaffney's Josh Gallman birdied both holes, erasing Anderson's four shot cushion.
Anderson responded with a birdie on six, while Gallman faltered, bogeying the hole. The one shot difference was as close as anyone would get to Anderson, who went on to birdie four more holes and one bogey to finish the tournament.
