AASU students move in to new dormitory

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - It's moving day for students at Armstrong Atlantic State University. More than 400 students are moving into a new dormitory.

Students and staff say the new dorm is a great addition to the campus.

"Getting work done, trying to be real focussed this year to all the exciting events they have, but basically school work is the focus," said AASU student Ashley Stevens.

"We are doing some expansion so we can meet the needs of an expanding population of students," said AASU president Linda Bleicken. "So sometimes you have to have space to teach them."

Classes at AASU begin on Monday. Visit www.armstrong.edu for more information.
