(WTOC) - For Savannah State, he is that guy. Shannon Sharpe, one the best to ever play at SSU, led the team to their best records in program history.
Well, that didn't slack off with the denver broncos in the NFL and Sunday, his former team said thank you.
The Broncos inducted Sharpe into the team's Ring of Fame. As a tight end, he played 12 seasons in Denver, won back to back titles, and, retired as the career leader among tight ends in receptions, yards and touchdowns.
