Latin Heritage week begins at AASU

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Latin Heritage week started today at Armstrong Atlantic State Unversity with an interactive talk with award-winning author Justin Lookadoo.

Monday's discussion focused on dating and relationship issues encountered by new college students.

"I think yes, the message will be welcomed because there are teens who are probably looking for someone to talk to them and answer the questions they have," said HOLA president Marco Tapia. "They're probably not, they don't know much because they're freshmen in college, they don't have the experiences that can happen in college."

Latin Heritage Week is being hosted by AASU's HOLA club. That stands for Hispanic Outreach and Leadership at Armstrong.
