Right now, literally tens of thousands of men and women are leaving their day jobs and serving our country in the National Guard and Reserve. So what happens when they give up those positions at home? One group, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), met last night trying to make sure they aren't forgotten.
"We want to make sure when they return, they have their jobs intact without any problems and make it a smooth transition for them," ESGR volunteer Jack McCall explained.
People from all walks of life are now on active military duty across the Low Country and Coastal Empire, so the ESGR wanted to remind volunteers about the service they provide for the troops and the businesses here at home they leave behind.
