THE CIVIL WAR EXPERIENCE On May 18. The Civil War Experience will be in Rincon. The event will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and will feature a civil war encampment. With 6-7 cannons, firing on the hour, tents, wagons, and soldiers. The Civil War Experience will offer free admission and the event will be selling Coke products and water to offset expenses. A number of local non-profit groups will be on hand explaining what their mission is to the public.
BEACH BUM PARADE The 2013 Tybee Island Beach Bum Parade is an annual tradition on Tybee Island featuring a parade as well as an island-wide water fight offering fun for all ages. Spectators line up along the parade route on Butler Avenue and will be armed with squirt guns and hoses. Don't miss this family-friendly water fight, which has been a Tybee Island tradition since 1987. The event will be held Friday, May 17 at 6:30 p.m.
PETER'S BIKE RIDE Peter Iannuzzi is striving to make a difference in by riding across Georgia June 2-8 while fighting Cerebral Palsy. You can help him make a difference by donating.
