
Hilton Head Islant Art Festival Paintings, jewelry, sculpture and more will all be on display at the annual Hilton Head Island Art Festival at Shelter Cove Harbour May 26th & 27th from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. This annual tradition designed to appeal to all tastes and budgets gives festival-goers an opportunity to explore original, handmade artwork including the newest creations by the artists from across the country. Admission is free and open to the public.
The event appeals to people of all ages including families, art enthusiasts and serious art buyers hoping to enhance their collections. Savannah Arts Savannah Arts Academy's theatre department has 2 final events; the Savannah Antique Mall will be sponsoring "Savannah Arts Academy Weekend at the Antique Mall" on Friday and Saturday, May 25th & 26th from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. This fundraiser will benefit the Savannah Arts Academy theatre students going to Edinburgh Scotland to perform at the American High School Theatre Festival this summer. The Savannah Arts theatre department will also be showcasing its talented students in "A Festival of One Acts" on Wednesday and Thursday, May 23rd & 24th at 7:00 PM at 500 Washington Avenue. Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for students and senior citizens. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the school box office beginning Monday, May 21st from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM or at the door.
