CHILDREN'S WELLNESS PROGRAM Children's Hospital at Memorial University Medical Center newest initiative, Children's Wellness Program, provides community collaboration and is a resource for education about childhood and adolescent obesity. Our first initiatives are community outreach, provider education and school nutrition training. Our goal is to teach those who provide care to our children through health visits and school nutrition the 4 Healthy Habits to pursue a healthier life for the future.
1. Drink more water
2. Half your plate fruits and vegetables
3. 60 minutes of activity a day
4. Limit screen-time to 60 minutes a day
