Some severe weather is moving across the area this afternoon, prompting watches and warnings throughout the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry. Meteorologist John Wetherbee will have the latest details from the WTOC Doppler Max11 weather lab.

An annual holiday tradition brought mayors from all over the Coastal Empire together today. The Mayor's Christmas Motorcade delivered gifts and goodwill to the patients at Georgia Regional Hospital in Savannah. Michelle Paynter was there and found out it's an event everyone looks forward to each year.

Three suspects arrested in connection with the kidnapping of a Hampton County, South Carolina woman were in front of a judge today. Officials say they attacked 78-year-old Margaret Gooding at her home in Miley, shot her and kidnapped her. She was found hours later in the trunk of a car in Walterboro. Lowcountry reporter Jaime Dailey has been following this story. She'll have all the latest details.

A big announcement from the Coastal Health District this morning - H1N1 shots are now available for everyone - six months of age and older. Medical reporter Melanie Ruberti spoke with health officials today and found out what you need to know before getting vaccinated.

Police in Statesboro are investigating the death of a 19-year-old woman who was found dead in her apartment last night - as a homicide. Meanwhile, they're trying to assure thousands of college students who live nearby of their safety. Bureau Chief Dal Cannady spoke with investigators today. He'll have the latest developments in the case.

Parents of a DeRenne Middle School student claim their child is the victim of a bully and now they're looking to the school district for help. Education reporter Brooke Kelley spoke with the parents and the district today about the bullying claim and what they have to say may surprise you.
