Girl Scout Cookies for the Troops

It's a treat right from home and it'll make a lot of military men and women happy. Girl Scouts from Sand Hill School in Guyton presented the 165th Airlift Wing of the Georgia National Guard 15 cases of Girl Scout cookies. Several different groups worked together to donate the cookies. The school and guard are partners.

"They've done so much for school we just wanted to give a little bit back to them," principal Randy Shearouse said. "So our faculty and staff, the Girl Scout troop, the PTA all joined together to help them out."

They'll take the cookies, letters and cards to brighten up the day for our military men and women serving overseas.
