Guardian Angels Organize Savannah Chapter

Police will soon be getting a helping hand in Savannah. The Guardian Angels will be patrolling the streets. Several weeks ago, the Guardian Angels started setting up a chapter in Savannah. On Thursday, March 13th, they'll begin training the first group of volunteers at the Jewish Education Alliance on Abercorn Street.

The first meeting will be March 13th, 7:00 p.m. at the Jewish Education Alliance on Abercorn and Derenne Avenue. The meeting is open to the public and admission is free. If you cannot attend the meeting, you may attend a meeting on the following Thursday, March 20th, 7 p.m. at the J.E.A. Classes are ongoing. You must be at least 16 years old to join.
