New poll says: Georgia in top 10 most strict states

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Georgia has been named as the seventh strictest state.

Over a nine week period, more than 72,000 votes were cast in the America's Strictest State Poll. The poll was featured on CMT's "World's Strictest Parents Online Parenting Survival Guide" and on Facebook. According to the poll, Arkansas is the strictest state in America.

In addition to naming Arkansas the strictest state, the poll concluded that the Top 10 Strictest States are: 1. Arkansas, 2. Alaska, 3. Delaware, 4. Montana, 5. New Hampshire, 6. Rhode Island, 7. Georgia, 8. Mississippi, 9. West Virginia, and 10. New Mexico.

America's Strictest State Poll tracked American's feedback on typical problematic teenage behavior and how lenient or strict parents' punishment should be.

CMT's "World's Strictest Parents Online Parenting Survival Guide" http:/www.cmtworldsstrictestparents.com/home/home.php is based on CMT's hit show 'Worlds Strictest Parents, which documents the journey of unruly teens forced to live with strict host parents.
