CHATHAM COUNTY FOSTER PARENT ASSOCIATION On average there are over 300 Chatham County children who are placed in foster care. SAVANNAH CHILDREN'S CHOIR The Savannah Children's Choir recently traveled to Verona, Italy to take part in the 23rd Annual Concors Internazionale Di Canto Corale, an international choir competition. While there, the SCC performed for a local middle school and traveled to the nearby town of S. Pietro di Lavagne to perform a Friendship Concert with two Italian adult choirs. The event culminated in an adjudicated competition before a jury of seven internationally renowned judges. Of the twenty choirs competing, five received Bronze awards, ten received Silver awards, and The Savannah Children's Choir was one of the five who received Gold awards.
