SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) – Several Savannah pastors, part of the Clergymen in Action, gathered Wednesday in front of the Savannah Christian Revival Center to announce their Haiti fund relief drive.

The group is collecting monetary donations which will be given to the Savannah Christian Revival Center's pastor Freddie Hebron.

Pastor Hebron has been in Haiti since the earthquake and is still there helping with relief efforts.

On Wednesday, the pastors gave Hebron's wife several check donations that will help Pastor Hebron provide supplies like food and water to the earthquake victims in Haiti.

"We know that with every day that goes by, someone is hungry or a life is lost," said Pastor Richard Hall. "We want to do what we can do immediately so we can get these funds over to Pastor Freddie. He is there on a hands on ministry and he knows exactly where the funds are needed."

A special collection will be taken this Sunday in their churches to help with relief efforts.

The Savannah Christian Revival Center will also be collecting donations at their church on 37th and Bull streets.
