An afternoon fire on Middleground Road has sent one person to the hospital and a home seriously damaged. The fire also forced police to close part of Middleground Road while crews worked to put out the blaze. Don Logana is on the scene and he'll have the latest information.

A former McIntosh County sheriff says he did nothing to deserve being tased and arrested over the weekend. But current sheriff's officials say he got in the middle of a traffic stop as a deputy stopped his son. Bureau chief Dal Cannady has been following this story and what he found out may surprise you.

The Savannah-Chatham County School District is discussing attendance zone changes in the first of several meetings this afternoon, but some parents aren't too happy with the proposal. Education reporter Brooke Kelley is at that first meeting at West Chatham Middle School and she'll have all the details.
