VIDALIA, GA (WTOC) - Police have arrested a pair of Toombs County men for the fatal shooting of a man in Vidalia.
Chief Frank Waits said detectives arrested Benjamin Johnson of Vidalia and Brian Stastny of Lyons and charged them with murder Friday afternoon.
They stand accused of shooting and killing Christopher Cartrette Thursday evening. Waits tells WTOC the two men confessed to shooting Cartrette, but they did not say why.
Johnson and Stastny are in the Toombs County jail waiting for a bond hearing.
