Johnson High School is now out of a baseball coach and physical education teacher. Teacher and coach Mark Todd resigned yesterday after allegations he had an improper relationship with a student. The Savannah-Chatham School Board won't say much, citing confidentiality, but they did confirm Todd is no longer an employee. Now, Chatham County police are looking into the situation.
"Information has recently been brought to the attention of the criminal investigation division involving an inappropriate relationship between a student and a former Johnson High School teacher," said police spokesman Mike Wilson. "Right now, our criminal investigation division is doing a preliminary inquiry to determine whether or not a criminal investigation is warranted at this point."
We'll stay on the story and let you know what happens.
