Funeral services were held in Conyers, Georgia, today for a Third ID soldier killed in a suicide bombing in Iraq. Private First Class Diego Rincon was only 19 years old. He and three other soldiers were killed when a suicide bomber posing as a taxi driver detonated a bomb at an Army roadblock.
"I gave my son to this country, but I don't regret a thing," his father George Rincon said. "I'm happy that he loved this country enough to give his life for it."
PFC Rincon is from Colombia. He's one of six foreign nationals killed while fighting for the US in the war with Iraq. Earlier this week, he was granted posthumous citizenship.
