Sweet Home Arizona (Part 2)

Years ago, in magazine ads, Charles Atlas warned skinny guys to bulk up, or risk having beach sand kicked in their face.  Tired of passively out-sourcing illegal immigration control to D.C.'s all-too-passive "borders don't define us" crowd, determined instead to enforce existing law themselves, Arizona has become the latter-day target of sand-kicking bullies.  Lefty zealots are incensed that Arizona, tired of the crime and the cost, actually dared move from talk to action, a stand most Americans strongly support.

Despite childish claims, those who oppose the Arizona law, must favor illegal entry.  Major California cities and others have announced economic boycotts, also impacting tourism to the state. An Illinois school district even cancelled a championship girls basketball team tournament-trip there. Punish your own outstanding athletes, that'll show ‘em!  Since 40% of Arizona's hospitality workers are Hispanic, ironically, they're the ones being hurt the most by all this foolishness.  Then there's Mexican President Calderon, here as a guest, who chose to blast Arizona's law, calling it discriminatory, and, echoing our own President's push for (quote) "comprehensive immigration reform." Leftist jargon, you'll recall, for amnesty. With all due disrespect to Mr. Calderon, coming from a nation whose most-favored export is unskilled humans, we invite him to place his advice, with gusto, deep within his personal non-dental cavity.  Discriminatory? Yes, between those here legally and those who are not. Racial profiling?  Grow up! Read the Arizona law, which few D.C. big-shots did before spouting off against it. Of course, it is asking a lot for them to read a 10-page-plus document, when they're used to not reading 2,000-pages of organic matter, dealing, repeatedly with Socialist wealth-confiscation.  Arizona, your stand is just, fair and right. Be comforted.  Loyal Americans respect, and fully support you.
