Stupidity Reigns Supreme (Part 9)
Yet another flap over flag-flying. A twice-deployed Wisconsin military veteran proudly displayed an American flag in his rental apartment window. No-can-do, said on-site managers. Per policy, no visible flags of any kind. Remove it or face eviction. Here comes yet another steamin' load of PC-BS. Replied management (quote): "We have many residents from diverse backgrounds." With a neutrality policy, "we're less likely to offend anyone." America's flag…neutrality? So now we fear our nation's symbol might offend someone, and especially those from, wink-wink, "diverse backgrounds?" What are we, North Korea, or some other global sink-hole? Anyone here, in these United States, who finds our flag offensive, for any reason, can deposit their offended, diverse butts in the express-line for deportation. They no longer deserve to be here. For our Wisconsin vet, a happy ending. Under pressure, the policy was changed. Our veteran and Old Glory will stay. Know that, by federal law, with minor exceptions, any property-owner has the right to display our flag, regardless.
Then, there's the ultra-lib California Congresswoman who claims that state interest in passing protective immigration laws, like Arizona's, is being driven by those with "ties to white supremacy groups." Implying the goal is discrimination. Yes, and with enough canon velocity, pigs can fly. Rational Americans know the true goal is to reduce the cost and crime burden from the continuing flood of illegals. Leftists just hate it when common sense, fiscal-reality, and those darn laws disrupt their dream of a no-borders utopia. Whether or not we ever actually do the PC-unthinkable, and close our borders, for the preventive health of our nation, the CDC should quarantine that delusional Congresswoman. Whatever she's got could spread.
