Super Bowl champ sharing football skills with campers

The slogan says it all:  train to be a champion.

Baxley native and Super Bowl champion Dexter Carter was back in the Coastal Empire Saturday, giving area youth the skills to do just that.

At Daffin Park in Savannah, Carter and company shared valuable tricks of the trade with the campers in attendance.

This is the first year the former college All-American has held this camp, but he says, it's something he's hoping to make an annual event.

"Anytime you get kids out, you have a chance to make a difference and make an impact, and that's what my whole goal is," he said.

"To have kids in my presence that I can motivate and inspire and teach them the ways in which I've gone."
