WWII Memorial phone-a-thon is Thursday

World War II Memorial

The response to WTOC's first World War II Memorial phone-a-thon was so overwhelming that there's going to be another one.

Join WTOC-TV along with the Veterans Council of Chatham County from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday. WTOC will be taking your pledges and broadcasting live from the Savannah Chapter of the American Red Cross.

    On Saturday, people heading to the Savannah Children's Museum got the chance to explore and learn about insects at Bug Fest. The event had arts and crafts, workshops, activities, and even a bug-eating contest.
