ATLANTA, GA (WTOC) -- The Atlanta Hawks are still waiting to hear from shooting guard Joe Johnson on the free agent contract off they made in an effort to try to keep their leading scorer.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting the Hawks have put together a 6-year deal worth an estimated $119-million. Johnson has also talked with the Bulls, Heat, Mavericks and Knicks about a contract.
No contracts can be signed until next Wednesday... but the two sides can agree to terms. Johnson averaged 21 points a game last season as the Hawks made it to the second round of the playoffs.
