GA Supreme Court upholds conviction in 2005 murder

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - One of the men convicted in the 2005 murder of a Savannah woman will remain in prison.

Kevin Huckabee was convicted of felony murder and sentenced to life in prison in December 2006. Huckabee appealed the decision to the Georgia Supreme Court, which ruled against him and upheld the conviction and the sentence.

Huckabee drove the getaway car for Webster Wilson and Michael Thorpe after they robbed and killed Ross on Christmas Eve morning.

The life sentences of Wilson and Thorpe were upheld last year.
