SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The prosecution and defense teams involved in the Troy Davis hearing have until this Wednesday to report back to the judge.
The defense tried to prove Troy Davis was innocent in the killing of Savannah-Chatham Police Officer Mark MacPhail back in 1989. Davis has been on death row for almost 20 years.
At the end of the two evidentiary hearing, the judge gave a set of questions to the prosecution and defense teams. The judge said they have until July 7 to answer the questions.
