SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - A Savannah funeral home is speaking out after the City of Savannah said their signs have to come down at the Forest Lawn Cemetery.
A few weeks ago, the Bonaventure Funeral Home put up billboards and on Thursday, all the signs came down. Funeral home owner Kyle Nikola, whose family also owns Forest Lawn, say he is planning to dispute the city's claim to owning the road and land. In the meantime, Nikola decided to take the signs down.
"We are cooperating and would like to talk to them about what they say they found out and then we will go from there," Nikola told WTOC.
