Southside EMT is released from hospital

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - A Southside Fire EMT shot in her own home last week is now resting comfortably at an undisclosed location. Lt. Pam Jackson was released from the hospital over the weekend after being shot in the face and arm during a home invasion.

The Southside Fire Department said they hope Savannah police can find the person or persons responsible.

Jackson was shot in her home July 15. She heard a noise, went to check it out, and was shot while walking down her hallway. Jackson was able to get to her portable radio and call for help.

No arrests have been made. Police are asking that if anyone knows anything to call police or Crimestoppers at 912.234.2020.

There is a $13,000 reward for anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
