Bryan County alcohol referendum passes

BRYAN COUNTY, GA (WTOC) - Restaurants in Bryan County could be selling alcohol on Sundays in as little as a month.

This is after the people living in the county voted for the sales in Tuesday night's primary. County Administrator Phillip Jones says there are still specifics that need to be ironed out but he expects those details to be approved by the county's next meeting on August 3.

Jones says after that each business wanting to sell alcohol on Sunday will have to be certified.
