Hampton Co. man arrested on charges of intimidating victim

HAMPTON CO., SC (WTOC) - A Yemassee, S.C., man is arrested on charges of trying to threaten or intimidate a victim and witness.

Brandon L. Greene, 29, violated the conditions of his bond and was arrested on July 22, according to the Hampton County Sheriff's Office.

He had been charged with murder and assault and battery with intent to kill on Oct. 3, 2009 after shooting and killing Dominick Badger and shooting a second victim, Antonio Badger on Oct. 2, 2009.   

Greene was released from jail on bond on June 6 and a GPS monitor device was placed on his leg. He was prohibited from contacting the victim or the victim's family as a condition of the bond. On July 22, 2010 at about 9 p.m., the Hampton County Sheriff's Office received a call from the company that was monitoring Greene, and they stated that Greene had breached the buffer zone and had contact with a member of the Badger family, according to a news release.

On July 22, Greene contacted a certain member of the Badger family and made contact with an additional member of the Badger family, according to authorities. The address in which Greene was located was the home of the victim Anthony Badger.

Greene was denied bond for the current charges of attempting to threaten or intimidate a victim/witness.
