SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - On Tuesday morning the annual Kiddie Olympics in Forsyth Park, sponsored by the Wesley Community Centers of Savannah, saw dozens of children, ages six months to four years-old, compete in everything from musical chairs and frisbee and ball toss to water sports and a kiddie dash.

"We have parents out here volunteering. Ameregion is out here helping kids with exercises. It is very important for them to understand the importance of exercise and eating well," Nicole Saxton, Wesley Community Centers, told WTOC.

The Kiddie Olympics were held in cities all over Georgia. It's part of a campaign to fight obesity and get children to learn about healthy living.
