No final outcome yet in alleged grade changing case

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The investigation regarding grade changing at Beach High School has concluded, but the final outcome is yet to be determined, according to the Savannah-Chatham Co. Public School System.

There has been no decision on the future employment of the high school's former Principal Deonn Stone, according to a news release from the Savannah-Chatham Co. Public School System. Throughout the investigation, Stone had been reassigned to Professional Learning and will remains there until final action is taken.

The board of education will be considering an appropriate resolution and has not been given a recommendation by the superintendent, the release said.

The final action is subject to decision by Superintendent Thomas Lockamy and school board approval. The date of this action is set for a special school board meeting on Aug. 11.
