When the head of NASA started, he said the President gave him three key missions, (quote) "perhaps foremost of which, (was) to reach out much more to Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science, math and engineering." Forget rockets, NASA's now in the self-esteem business. Christian and Jewish scientists have made significant contributions. Wonder if they, too, can get a NASA pep-rally? In California, welfare recipients access their redistribution funds via state-provided ATM cards. Seemed like a good idea until some began using them with ATM's in casinos and strip clubs, places unlikely to stock food items for their children. Then, back in May, after an Arizona farmer held a gun on 16 illegals crossing his property, the aliens filed suit, claiming civil-rights infringement. Amazing how illegal invaders claim entitlement to citizen rights. Shows you just how far off-plumb our nation has tilted.
And speaking of supposed alien-rights, California Congressman Pete "Our-Borders-Are-Quite-Secure" Stark, actually told constituents that denying jobs to illegals could be "unconstitutional." Beyond acknowledging we have a Constitution, a no-no for lefties, his answer is blissfully fact-free. Then there's Speaker Nancy "We've-Got-To-Pass-It,To-See-What's-In-It" Pelosi, who actually also said: "Unemployment benefits are creating jobs faster than practically any other program." Brilliant! Prosperity is best achieved by paying folks not to work. Economic hallucinations aside, the actual, proven, jobs-creator is one, two-word phrase, kryptonite to libs: tax-cuts!
