SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Savannah Tech College Culinary Arts Hot Food Team are back in the kitchen after they competed in the American Culinary Federation National Competition in Anaheim, California. They brought home the silver medal.
The competition featured four culinary programs across the country competiting for the top prize.
"You have no idea how happy I am with the work they have done over there and the confidence and the hard work paid off in the end," said Chef Jean Vendeville, Savannah Technical College.
Chef says the students will be back next year and will be ready to compete and take the first place prize.
