SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - For the first time in over a century, St. Vincent's Academy will not be overseen by a nun. The Sisters of Mercy held a reception for the school's new principal, Mary Ann Hogan.
Hogan excited and says she cannot wait for the new school year to start.
"St. Vincent's Academy has had a 165 years of excellence, and my plan is to continue on that excellence and build on it," Principal Hogan assured WTOC.
Classes at St. Vincent's Academy start on Wednesday.
