DA's office announces 2 new staff appointments

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Chatham County District Attorney's Office announced Thursday the appointments of two staff members.

Ann Elmore has been appointed the deputy chief assistant district attorney of the special victims unit. She is scheduled to start Sept. 13, and will serve on the district attorney office's Leadership Team. She joined the district attorney's office in 1991 and currently serves in the Superior Court Division.

Frank Pennington has been appointed as trial prosecutor on Judge Karpf's trial team. He will take Elmore's place in the Superior Court Division. He will also start the new position on Sept. 13.
