SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - A longtime Savannah attorney and former state legislator has passed away.
Alan Gaynor died Saturday morning at his home.
Gaynor was elected to the state house in 1966 and served until 1972. He was also a prominent Savannah lawyer who gave back to the community.
Gaynor was active with the Boy Scouts of America, receiving several awards. He also served as former president of the Rotary Club of Savannah.
A funeral service for Alan Gaynor will be on Monday, August 23rd, starting at 2 p.m. at Congregation Mickve Israel.
Alan gaynor was 81 years old.
