SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Come join and help some animals in need.
Blaine's Bar held their second Dog Days of Summer Event, which featured a show and an auction.
They're raising money, and awareness, for the Savannah Chatham Humane Society.
Some of the money raised will go towards a new facility to spay and neuter stray animals. Organizers say it's important to help out our furry friends.
"It breaks my heart when I go down the street and I see animals just roaming around with nothing to eat. Skinny. And the Humane Society does their best to make life easier for these animals and give them a place to go and get fed and to get healthy again," Dawn Dupree, Blaine's Bar, told WTOC.
Another fundraiser for the Humane Society will take place at the bar around Christmas time.
