Bomb squad called to Atlanta's airport

ATLANTA, GA (AP) - The Atlanta Police Department's bomb squad is investigating a package found at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Police spokesman Otis Redmond says the package was found in a piece of luggage at a curbside check-in area Monday morning. Dispatchers said it looks like a pipe bomb.

Redmond says the bomb squad removed the luggage from the area. He says the airport was not evacuated and traffic is moving normally.
