Georgia emergency officials want to remind you to be prepared

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - September is National Emergency Preparedness Month, but studies show nearly 80-percent of Georgians are not as prepared as they should be.

State emergency officials want you to get prepared for any type emergency by taking three steps:  Create a ready kit, make a family communications plan, and stay informed about local threats.
