SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) – A man who was one of Savannah's most wanted has been indicted on murder charges.
A grand jury has indicted Jamari Reynolds on malice murder charges. Police said Reynolds shot and killed Tyrone Scott on April 11.
Following the shooting, Reynolds was on the run.
Two months after the shooting, U.S. Marshals and metro police got a tip that Reynolds was in a house on East 38th Street in Savannah. They surrounded the house and as he bolted, and caught him just a few blocks away.
On top of the murder charges, Reynolds is also charged with aggravated assault, criminal attempt to commit armed robbery and felony obstruction.
