A Beaufort High School science teacher has earned national acclaim. After previously being honored as a South Carolina Teacher of the Year, Beaufort's Jeremiah Young travels to the nation's capital this week to receive National Teacher of the Year accolades from the American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence. What a fantastic professional honor for a teacher who strives to make a difference in the lives of his students, and who was quick to tell WTOC that he absolutely "loves teaching."
Our congratulations to Mr. Jeremiah Young for his, first, state-wide, now nation-wide honors for teaching excellence.
