HARDEEVILLE, SC (WTOC) - The search for a missing Hardeeville man has ended.
The Coast Guard called off the search for 50-year-old Lewis Fraizer Thursday night. Fraiser went fishing with some friends on Wednesday. At one point Fraizer leaned over the raid and because of the rough waters fell in. He was not wearing a life jacket, but relatives say he is a great swimmer.
"All I can ask for is for people to pray, pray, that he's alive. Don't give up hope, because I am not going to do it," said Denise Coleman, Fraizier's niece. "I won't give up hope until they say here's his body."
The Coast Guard suspended the search because hurricane Earl made water condidtions too dangerous.
