2 Ga. women charged in May death of toddler

ZEBULON, Ga. (AP) - Authorities have issued murder warrants for two women accused of killing a 2-year-old in Pike County in May.

The warrants come after a Georgia Bureau of Investigation probe found that Tyqwan Edge died from blunt-force trauma.

Pike County Sheriff Jimmy Thomas said the Chiquita Snipes and Kenesha Neal have been in the Pike County jail since being arrested June 8 on assault and cruelty to children charges.

The toddler was in their custody when he died.

Pike County is about 50 miles south of Atlanta.
