Coming up on THE News: GSU's economic impact

Here are stories WTOC is working on: Georgia Southern University had an economic impact of $795.3 million on nine southeast Georgia counties in the 2009-2010 fiscal year, according to a report released Tuesday. Bureau Chief Dal Cannady talks to GSU and those in the region about the findings.

This summer was the warmest summer on record in Savannah, according to the National Weather Service. WTOC's Don Logana is looking into what effect the heat has had on the area.

City leaders from Hinesville, Flemington and Fort Stewart are unveiling a transportation option called Liberty Transit. WTOC's Brooke Kelley will have more details on the new service.
