SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The man who police said gunned down a 19-year-old at a Savannah IHOP over the weekend stood before a judge on Monday.

Jeffrey Johnson, 24, is charged with murder. Police said Johnson shot and killed 19-year-old Larry Venison after the two got in a fight at a nightclub that carried over to the IHOP parking lot.

At his arraignment, bond was denied for Johnson. He'll be back in court later in the month.
