SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) – The public will be about to hear from Georgia Department of Transportation officials and provide input at a forum about the Bay Street widening project next week.
Sen. Lester Jackson (D-Savannah) is hosting the forum about the Bay Street Widening Initiative at 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 22 at the Moses Jackson Community Center at 1410 Richards St. in Savannah. Georgia DOT Commissioner Vance Smith, DOT Board members Bobby Parham and Jay Shaw, and city and state DOT engineers will be there.
The Bay Street Initiative is an ongoing project aimed at enhancing businesses along Bay Street with positive environmentally friendly green initiatives.
The public is invited to attend.
