SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - For years the 200 Club of the Coastal Empire has been helping the families of fallen heroes, now you can help them too.
"Shields for Fallen Heroes" are on sale at Enmark convenience stores throughout the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry for the next six weeks.
The paper shields cost $1or $5 and 100% of the money goes to help local families of police officers, firefighters and paramedics killed in the line of duty.
Enmark manager Joey Costa says this is the fourth year they have participated in the campaign and every year they raise more and more money for the 200 Club.
Costa said, "It's a great feeling because each of our stores have a great turnout with regular customers, people new to the area and tourists that have never heard about this campaign have been very helpful."
There are many other stores participating, including KFC, Burger King, Habersham Beverage Warehouse, Fleet Feet. For more information about the 200 Club and Shields campaign, visit www.twohundredclub.org.
